　　Respiratory Care Practitioner at Providence Medford Medical Center (On-call and Day shift)

　　Perform Respiratory Care Services in accordance with departmental standards, policies and protocols.

　　MAJOR CHALLENGES:

　　Must be able to readily adapt to a variety of responsibilities.Patient Population Served: Neonates, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric

　　Consequently, the employee must be competent in the interpretation of a patient's self-report or behavior, and this information must be interpreted with an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional/psychosocial and chronological maturation process. The treatment of patients should be individualized and should reflect an understanding of the developmental needs and range of treatment needs for each patient.

　　Required Qualifications:

　　Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy, or equivalent education/ experience.

　　Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.

　　National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

　　National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

　　National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.

　　National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.
