　　Job Title: Residential / Light Commercial Plumbing Manager

　　Department: Residential Service Division

　　Reports to: Residential General Manager

　　Wage: Based on experience

　　Experience: Licensed plumber with managerial experience

　　General Purpose of Job:

　　Lead the plumbing dept.

　　Supervision of all plumbing activities

　　Help grow the plumbing side of the business.

　　Build a strong plumbing team.

　　Hiring, training and leadership of all plumbing team members

　　Create a retail culture with a growth mindset.

　　Handles all customer related requests, concerns, etc.

　　Maintain excellent communication and customer service between Newcomb and Company, customers and staff.

　　Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and enhance customer satisfaction.

　　Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet all required physical ability, efforts, and exertions to perform the required job duties.

　　Must possess a great attitude with a dedication to quality workmanship/customer service.

　　NC Plumbing license required.

　　Knowledge of computer systems and software.

　　Perform diagnostics, sales, repairs, installation and maintenance.

　　Maintain a quality of workmanship and service standards as set by the company.

　　Must have the ability to work in outdoor weather and temperature extremes designated by company policy.

　　Operate mini excavators / trenchers. Replace water & sewer lines.

　　Must work safely and abide by the company’s safety policies to ensure the safety and protection to self, personnel, and all customers and company property.

　　Must possess strong troubleshooting skills and be familiar with local codes

　　Maintain all assigned tools and vehicles in top condition.

　　Physical Requirements:

　　All candidates for this position should be reasonably physically fit and capable of picking up a 60 lb. tool, piece of equipment or piece of material and moving it about either on a jobsite, at a vendor, our warehouse, etc.

　　All plumbers typically load and unload materials for projects and move these materials into place at the project. This may involve movement carrying a load in tight and difficult situations and on uneven terrain.

　　All candidates may be required to climb and work off ladders and aerial lifts as required to accomplish their work within buildings and on roofs.

　　All candidates will be familiar with the safe operation and capable of using hammer type drills and similar tools.

　　Environmental conditions may range from outdoors at all times of the year to indoors at normal office conditions to indoor utility plants.
