　　Job Description

　　David Weekley Homes is seeking a Drafter to join our architectural design team supporting our Dallas-Fort Worth market. This position will be based out of our Carrollton, TX office.

　　The successful candidate will provide truly outstanding customer service to our internal team members through daily field support, workflow and procedures.

　　Key Responsibilities:

　　Draft address-specific construction documents for permitting and starts

　　Draft site drawings, noting house location on lot, for single family or multifamily address specific plans for the Dallas-Ft. Worth Division

　　Draft lot checks for field

　　Develop, distribute and support lot fit packages to field

　　Revise architectural plans as marked and thoroughly coordinates all sheets that are affected by any changes

　　Interact with field Team Members for projects under construction

　　Ensure established deadlines are achieved

　　Facilitate problem solving with fellow Team Members and Design City Coordinator or Design City Manager

　　Job Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Environmental Design, Engineering or closely related field; OR associates/technical degree in Architectural Design/Drafting

　　General knowledge of residential plans and construction drawings

　　Proficient in AutoCAD

　　Proficiency in REVIT strongly preferred

　　Microsoft Office proficient

　　Excellent written and verbal communication

　　A strong Customer Service orientation with tact and professionalism to work with many kinds of personalities

　　Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers in person, on phone and via email

　　Excellent organizational skills and be accustomed to working in a time-sensitive environment

　　Must be able to prioritize, manage time efficiently and effectively multi-task
