Position: Residential Aide Worker
Education and Qualification requirements:The Residential aide worker position requires the employee to possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. They must have at least 1-2 years of training as a medical technician, mental health aide, or similar field. Experience working as a residential worker, or similar position with at least 1 year of experience with juvenile and/or young adult population in a residential/ group home setting. Will evaluate experience and training time to consider eligibility for the position.
Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities:residential aide worker must possess good organizational skills, the ability to communicate effectively with others, be able to work well on a multidisciplinary team and have excellent time management skills. Residential aide worker should also be aware of privacy laws and understand the need to maintain client confidentiality.Certifications, Licenses, RegistrationsValid driver's license with clean driving record Must be free from any communicable/infectious diseases.Provide a valid PA child abuse clearance, FBI check and criminal background check, and sexual abuse clearance.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe position requires daily supervision tasks which include but are not limited to monitoring residents, being aware of program rules, remind residents of the applicable rules, and report any violations by residents. Completing applicable daily reports. Light janitorial duties. The residential aide workers report to the case manager.
