We socialize and celebrate achievements at summer picnics, holiday parties, and company outings.Benefits: Full Benefits Program consisting of Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, FSA or HSA, EAP, 401(k), ESOP, and company stock ownership program, 9 Paid Holidays, generous paid-time-off program, Work from home flexibility, and Health & Wellness ReimbursementPay Rate: $112,200 - $184,540Resident EngineerDelve Underground is looking for a Resident Engineer with 15-20 years of construction management experience and heavy underground construction in our Seattle Office.Responsibilities:Supervise and manage office personnel, including Office Engineer, Community Liaison, Assistant Resident Engineers, and Inspectors.Advise the Client on all critical project tasks and troubleshoot project issuesReview field paperwork, to include:Requests for Information (RFI)Contractor SubmittalsConstruction SchedulesInspection Reports and LogsAgendas and Meeting MinutesPermittingChange Management LogsSafety Plans and Safety AuditsContractor and CM PaymentsOversee and negotiate Change Orders, Overruns, and ClaimsRun all construction field meetingsOversee field inspections of the Contractor's workInteract with the Prime Contractor performing the work and maintain a professional relationship with them to provide the Client with the highest quality end-product.Maintain open lines of communication with the Client and/or Owner to facilitate the completion of work on time and on budget and to better address construction conflicts in an effort to minimize their impact on the project schedule and budget.Perform other tasks as deemed necessary to facilitate the construction work.Qualifications:BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Project Management or other related construction field from an accredited college or university.Valid Professional Engineering license in Washington is desired.Minimum of 15 years' experience with heavy infrastructure construction including tunnel and shaft construction.Knowledge of tunneling, microtunneling, HDD, and shaft excavation construction is a plus.Ability to manage a number of concurrent assignments and priorities, and supervise, train, and mentor construction office personnel, including Office Engineer, Community Liaison, Assistant Resident Engineers, and inspection staff.Strong team building, analytical and technical communication skills.Strong organizational skills.Strong written and oral communication skills.Computer proficiency and versed in Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.CAD knowledge and drafting experience is a plus.Experience with Primave
