Specific projects include being directed to use analytical methods for the quantitation of carcinogen and toxicant metabolites in human urine, blood and DNA. The analytes are present at levels less than one part per billion. Job Responsibilities: -Use liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry to analyze urine and blood samples for trace amounts of toxicant and carcinogen metabolites: 70% -Use high-resolution liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry to analyze human DNA samples for chemical modifications: 30% Qualifications All required qualifications must be included in the application materials Required Qualification: -BS/BA in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or closely related field or a combination of related education and work experience to equal 4 years -Basic understanding of mass spectrometry and related analytical chemistry techniques -Motivation to perform research as part of a laboratory team.
