　　Position Summary:

　　The Center for Research and Education in Special Environments (https://publichealth.buffalo.edu/exercise-and-nutrition-sciences/research-and-facilities/core-facilities/crese.html) is seeking an Research Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will be familiar with diagnostic exercise equipment, possess knowledge of computer-based programs, have an understanding of basic cardiovascular and neuromuscular physiology.

　　Job Duties Include:

　　Participant Recruitment, Enrollment, and Screening

　　Maintain participant schedules

　　Implementing and Administering Complex Research Studies

　　Performing Standard Lab Related Tests and Procedures

　　Collect, Maintain, and Analyze Data

　　Must be able to work independently.

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　Bachelors degree

　　Requires the use of specialized techniques in the field of endeavor to make observations, collect data, use survey instruments and techniques, and make related calculations using mathematical formulae.

　　Must be able to pass a physical exam for scuba diving or work in a pressurized environment

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Master’s degree

　　Experience in human subjects research

　　Experience in a human research lab
