Maintain and troubleshoot mass spectrometer and related instrumentation.2) Compliance: Work with and under the guidelines of NEOMED policy and occupational health and safety offices to monitor research areas and develop and implement policies, procedures and standards for laboratory operations to ensure the efficiency, effectiveness and quality control of the lab and compliance with federal, state and university regulations and standards. Develop new protocols, as needed.3) Scholarship: Contribute to publications and grant applications.4) Data and Records Management: Conduct comprehensive data analysis and provide detailed report to supervisor. Organize and keep records of collected data. Attend weekly group meetings and report scientific progress and updates. Contribute to problem resolution and results assessments.5) Lab Management: Coordinate operational activities in the laboratory, provide team support and acts as primary contact with vendors in support of instrument maintenance, laboratory purchasing, personnel and operations.6) Perform other duties as assignedQualificationsEducation/Degrees:
Ph.D. in Physics, Biochemistry or ChemistryExperience:
Minimum 3 years research experience obtained as a postdoc fellow; six years preferred.Experience in:
