The Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the portfolio of studies for study inception to close out. Duties/Responsibilities: 50% Project Management: day to day activities from protocol writing/development, logistical implementation, PI discussions, team meetings, budgetting and contracting. Ongoing monitoring of projects: status updates (screened, enrolled, on and off study), specimen oversight and process improvements. Study close out: communication with team, removal of all study specific equipment, contractual close out in distribution of funds. 30% Regulatory: Gain and maintain all internal and external regulatory approvals for specific studies. 20% Special Projects/Project Improvement: Set by the Dept/Research administration for improvement and growth of OBGYN research. Qualifications Required Qualifications *BA/BS with at least 6 years of experience or advanced degree with 4 years of experience *Experience managing complex research projects *Excellent verbal and written communication skills *Willingness to engage in sensitive or uncomfortable conversations with a large team and individual stakeholders *Experience working with Google Apps (Google Docs, Drive, Calendar) for day-to-day project activities Preferred Qualifications *Experience working with human subjects and IRB issues, especially regarding vulnerable populations *Experience working in REDCap *Earned degree in public health, nursing or biological sciences *Experience working in research (clinical or lab) *Experience working in an academic institution Benefits Working at the University At the University of Minnesota, you'll find a flexible work environment and supportive colleagues who are interested in lifelong learning.
