Job Overview:We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Research Operations Technician. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in supporting domestic and international researchers by ensuring the provision of accurate information and materials for various projects. Key Responsibilities:Material Management and Logistics:Oversee the inventory of research materials.Process material requests efficiently and accurately.Ensure compliance with established ISO Quality Standards.Manage day-to-day operations, including shipping/receiving and workspace maintenance.Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure a smooth workflow.Conduct data entry tasks with precision.Process materials in the lab, adhering to established protocols.Handle material cooler storage and maintain cold storage rooms.
Team Collaboration:Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Collaborate with various departments to meet project requirements.
Qualifications:Education: AS (Associate in Science) degree or higher.Experience: Minimum one year of related experience and/or training preferred/Internships.Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and standard computer software.o Basic mechanical ability and understanding of equipment maintenance.o Ability to operate and troubleshoot equipment.
Personal Attributes:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.Adept at handling repetitive tasks.Proactive and self-motivated.Ability to work in a fast-paced, global, and multi-cultural environment.
Physical Requirements:Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).Comfortable with regular heavy lifting (up to 40 pounds with a team).Able to work in cold environments.Operate pallet jacks and walk-behind forklifts for in-house inventory transport as needed.
