　　Summary

　　The College of Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacy Department is seeking an experienced Research Lab Technician Associate. You will provide routine to moderately complex technical lab support for a research facility. Collects, analyzes, and processes laboratory samples. Performs a variety of tests, using both routine and special techniques and methods. Assists in report writing. Sets up equipment and materials for course instruction. Performs routine library work, including finding literature and copying articles.

　　Responsibilities*

　　Participate in sample collection from rodent and large animal experiments; conduct sample processing in preparation for analysis by NMR metabolomics; NMR spectral acquisition and processing

　　Maintenance of laboratory and experimental records

　　Assist with experiment set up

　　Assist with sample inventory and shipment/transport of laboratory supplies/biospecimens to external/collaborators laboratories

　　Assist with the training of new laboratory members/students

　　Perform lab maintenance

　　Order supplies and reagents

　　Perform autoclaving

　　Make solutions

　　Required Qualifications*

　　Must have some laboratory experience

　　Must have good general laboratory practice and maintenance skills as well as good organization skills

　　Ability to work independent as well as a team member

　　Desired Qualifications*

　　BS degree in chemistry, biology or related field

　　Basic research knowledge and bench skills
