　　Summary

　　We are seeking to hire a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to assist with a project in Dr. Liz Duval's research lab in the Department of Psychiatry. This project will investigate hippocampal-dependent learning and memory processes associated with childhood adversity and opioid use disorder.

　　Responsibilities*

　　Project Specific Responsibilities:

　　Run behavioral, physiological (skin conductance), and neuroimaging (MRI) experiments in humans.

　　Process and analyze physiological and neuroimaging data.

　　Train research assistants, students and other research staff in research methods and analysis.

　　Literature searches, manuscript writing, and presentation of results.

　　Writing proposals and grants.

　　Required Qualifications*

　　Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field.Desired Qualifications*

　　An understanding of medical terminology, experience in a large complex health care setting, ability to effectively communicate with staff and faculty of all levels, and knowledge of university policies and procedures is desirable.

　　Experience using E-Prime to develop and administer tasks to assess cognitive and emotional processes.

　　Experience collecting, processing, and analyzing MRI and physiological data.

　　Experience working with clinical populations, especially individuals with trauma and substance use disorders.

　　Experience training students on study procedures.

　　Track record of research productivity (e.g. publications in scientific journals).

　　Work Schedule

　　Flexible 40 hours per week within the following: 8 AM to 7 PM Monday through Friday. Occasional weekends. Must be physically on-site at least three days per week.
