Element has a current opening for a Research Clinician to join our growingteam in Boulder, CO on a casual intermittent basis. The main responsibilityof the Research Clinician is to assist the Clinical Study Manager infacilitating the Study in each Laboratory in order to meet customer turn timeand requests; to help ensure the Studies are performed to protocol(s)requirements; to ensure that the Studies meet requirements of the QualitySysteThe budget range for this position is set between $35hr-$55hr, and willdepend largely on individual relevant experienceResponsibilities
Responsible for nursing care of participants, according to protocolrequirements and/or Clinimark standing orders.Develops, completes, and maintains source documentsScreens, consents, and conducts study procedures, as designated by thestudy protocolAdheres to study protocol and follows participants through the study period,per protocolConduct required assessments throughout the clinical trial assessment periodResponsible for maintaining and completing Case Report Forms in agreement withthe source documentation and in accordance with the study protocolsAssures clinical supply accountability for assigned trialsAccompanies sponsors representatives during site visits and follows up, asneededAccumulates all data and supplies for study closurePerforms procedures (i.e. vital signs, laboratory tests, etc.), asrequired by the protocol and as allowed by level of licensure and/or training
Skills / Qualifications
Must be a Registered Nurse with a current license in the state ofColorado/Degree and licensing requiredMust not have any disciplinary action on license historyClinical Research Experience preferred, but not requiredMust be capable of performing all clinical tasks relevant to licensureand/or trainingMust be able to clearly communicate verbally with participantsMust have good interpersonal skills, demonstrated through interactions withparticipants, Clinimark staff, Sponsor representatives, etc.Must be detail-oriented and organized.Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at abroad range of events/projects in the community, with customers and withinthe companyWell-developed oral and written communication skills to meet a variety ofcommunication needs, Good interpersonal skills that foster open upward anddownward communication built on mutual respectTechnical background is a plusAbility to interface with participantsAttention to detail is an absolute mustProficiency with Microsoft OfficePossession of good communication skills (verbal, written)Possession of independent, problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge and compliance with laboratory procedures, quality and safetyrequirementsStrong Organizational and Scheduling Skills#LI-TK1
