rrPosition Summary:
rPerforms research activities and analysis; implements, evaluates andrecommends adjustments to research procedures. Responsible forsynthesizing and independently preparing results for publication. Worksunder general supervision with a significant degree of creativity andlatitude. May coordinate research operations and the daily activities ofjunior research personnel.
Duties may include:
Participating in planning and/or designing of major scientificprojects, studies, or applicationsPlanning and conducting research and analysis of scientific dataPreparing graphic and narrative reportsInterpreting test results and comparing with determined standardsand limitsPerforming site inspections and field oversight if field work isrequiredPlanning, designing, developing, monitoring and/or evaluating adistinct portion of a scientific project, study or applicationResearching, designing, implementing, standardizing, and evaluatingnew proceduresMaintaining detailed records of results and prepares written reportsacceptable to the Principal Investigator and funding agenciesOther duties as assignedrrMinimum Qualifications:

Masters Degree in wildlife sciences or closely related field{=html}<>- Two years of research experience beyond receipt of Masters Degree related to the domain of this position

Experience conducting wildlife research and monitoring on aDepartment of Defense military installationExperience publishing in peer-reviewed journalsExperience processing images from motion-activated game camerasrrPhysical Requirements & Working Conditions:
