  Statement of the Job:

  The primary purpose of this position is to design, develop and maintain accessible CCIDS webpages and products and to research, plan, and provide consultation/technical assistance, professional development, and community education related to accessibility. We will consider a fully remote or hybrid work schedule. Office space on the Orono Campus of the University of Maine can also be provided, if desired. Typical hiring range for this soft-money position is $39,226 - $48,202 commensurate with qualifications and experience.

  Qualifications:

  Required:

  A Bachelor’s degree or combination of four years of education and experience, equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.

  Significant (typically three to five additional years) demonstrated experience in related field.

  Knowledge of and experience with WordPress/Gutenberg editor, web accessibility, creating accessible documents/pdf documents, Qualtrics, DubBot, and Google Analytics.

  Knowledge of Apple Mac computers and operating systems.

  Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  Ability to work collaboratively with others, including faculty, staff, individuals with disabilities, family members, and policy makers in the development of materials, teaching, technical assistance, and research and evaluation activities.

  Ability to travel, typically requiring a valid driver’s license.
