The Columbia Center for Translational Immunology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) seeks a highly motivated technician to support immunology research. Responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks related to animal husbandry, animal sampling and processing, processing of human clinical samples, molecular assay performance, and support with data management and analysis.

Responsibilities

Assist with animal husbandry and sampling.Process human and murine samples, maintaining meticulous records to ensure traceability and quality control.Assist with comprehensive analyses of samples, encompassing data processing and analysis.Foster a culture of scientific excellence, integrity, efficiency, teamwork, continuous learning, and improvement.Perform other related duties as needed.Minimum Qualifications

Undergraduate student with coursework in chemistry, biology, physics, or related science.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data management files.Preferred Qualifications

Experience in common biology techniques such as tissue culture and RNA isolation.Other Requirements
