　　Job Summary

　　Works under general direction to perform professional level medical or scientific research assignments related to cancer research. Performs diverse and complex duties, collecting, processing and shipping specimens to local or reference labs, entering patient data into a variety of computer based systems, scheduling of daily activities, retention and organization of documentation and data functions for cancer research staff.

　　Education and/or Experience

　　High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

　　Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

　　One to two years of healthcare experience preferred.

　　Proficiency in office equipment, as well as software, including: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
