UC's annual budget tops $1.65 billion and its endowment totals $1.8 billion.Job OverviewThe University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College invites applications for a full-time, Represented Adjunct faculty position in the Biology Department beginning August 15, 2024.This is a Represented Adjunct faculty position at either the Instructor or Assistant Professor level (rank commensurate with credentials). It is a non-tenure track, contract renewable position with teaching (80%) and departmental service (6%) responsibilities equal to 86% full-time equivalent (FTE). Initial contract length is 3 years, with subsequent reappointments ranging from two to five years. This position is anticipated to be long-term and includes representation by the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) bargaining unit and contracted benefits.Essential FunctionsTeach an average of 12 contact hours per semester of lecture and/or laboratory classes in the Fall and Spring semesters. The primary content area for this position is human anatomy and physiology and/or introductory biology for majors and non-majors.
