　　Amentum has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Removalist to join their team in Alice Springs, NT - Australia.

　　THE ROLE

　　As the removalist you will be reporting to the Operations Lead, and responsible for a variety of duties including moving domestic and commercial furniture. At times you will provide support to logistical services, as well as undertake additional tasks and duties as and when required.

　　Work is performed at a range of residential properties as well as other facilities all within Alice Springs.

　　ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Transport furniture and white goods between the warehouse and residential properties

　　Effectively utilize associated equipment and transport

　　Pack, un-pack, scan, label and load items securely and safely for transport

　　Construction of new furniture

　　Once trained, assist with on-the-job training for new employees

　　Report any incidents to management as a priority

　　Use of existing workplace systems to record and plan work tasks

　　Work as part of a team

　　Assist in other areas of logistics support as required

　　Work to ensure that safety is an integral part of everyday activities

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　Minimum Essential

　　Current Drivers License

　　Ability to safely undertake a wide range of transport activities

　　Ability to understand written instructions

　　Ability to work professionally with minimal supervision

　　Good interpersonal skills with a customer service focus

　　Good communication skills – verbal and written

　　Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and successfully complete assigned tasks

　　Demonstrated ability to identify issues and develop solutions to problems

　　It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security, applicants with a current clearance will be viewed favorably

　　Desirable

　　Experience in the transport industry

　　Forklift License

　　HR License

　　STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTS

　　At least 18 years of age.

　　Able to fluently read, write and speak English

　　Australian or US citizen

　　EHS REQUIREMENT
