Actalent is hiring a Software Engineer with strong C++ and Linux experience for an Aerospace/DoD company located in Syracuse, NY. This would be a remote work schedule but will need to come onsite when needed. However, will need to be able to travel onsite when needed. 　　Seeking motivated Software Engineers to develop and test complex defense and communications technology.

　　Job Responsibilities:

　　Design, develop and maintain software

　　Participate in laboratory and field integration testing to validate software

　　Document and communicate proposed software solutions with integrated, cross-functional engineering teams

　　Participate in software design and code reviews to ensure delivery of quality products and enhance skillsets

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering

　　2+ years of experience developing software

　　Experience with C++

　　Knowledge of Linux-based and Windows operating systems

　　Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and MATLAB is a plus

　　Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React and AngularJS is a plus

　　Must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills

　　Eligible to receive a US Secret Clearance (clearance not required for position)
