Reasonable proximity (within a 50-mile radius and a 1-hour commute) to the Altamonte Springs, FL office listed above is required .
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM. This position will work full-time (5 days per week) in the office onsite.
The Regulatory Affairs Analyst is responsible for ensuring company and its subsidiaries maintain compliance with specific applicable laws and regulations for pharmacy benefit management (PBM).
How You Will Make an Impact
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Tracking and maintaining comprehensive records of licensure requirements in all 50 states plus territories.
Managing PBM licensure from start to finish – to include initial research for license requirements, preparing and submitting documents, monitoring ongoing compliance with licensing authority requirements, and providing notice to regulators about changes to previously-submitted information.
Collaborating with appropriate internal teams and external business partners to create required attachments, exhibits, and documentation to supplement PBM applications and obtain submission review/approvals.
Interfacing with internal leadership and external professionals in a concise and effective manner to respond to inquiries regarding PBM licensing.
Communicating with licensing authorities in a professional and prompt manner to effect submissions, obtain information, resolve discrepancies, and swiftly correct any submission deficiencies to ensure continual compliance with state license requirements.
Preparing applicable reporting tied to PBM licensure requirements.
Developing and maintaining working knowledge of those state and federal laws/regulations that govern the business related to PBM licensure.
Keeping up to date on laws/regulations impacting the business related to PBM licensure. Monitoring new laws/regulations and changes in interpretation on existing laws/regulations obtained from various sources related to PBM licensure.
Producing concise, accurate, and thorough summaries of legislative or regulatory changes related to PBM licensure. Communicating with appropriate organizational units to facilitate sharing of changes and business impact.
Performing original research on points of law related to PBM licensing that may impact the business or contribute to issues of concern.
Continually reviewing and evaluating standards of procedure for license tracking and submissions. Upon learning of or creating new procedures, implementing those changes, and disseminating the updated procedures across the business.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
PBM/TPA licensure experience strongly desired.
Training in the legal field preferred.
Proficient at utilizing Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational and relationship skills.
