Department/Unit Summary Our ICU is a dynamic and diverse unit, specializing in trauma, surgical, medical, and cardiac care. We have 25 beds and offer flexible scheduling with 12-hour shifts available rotating both days and nights. Our team includes a dedicated unit educator and a group of experienced charge nurses. Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associates or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: · CPR Certification· ACLS Certification within 1 year· Basic Dysrhythmia Course within 1 year· Critical Care Course current or acquired within 1 year· Trauma Nurse Course within 1 year· PALS certification current or acquired within 2 years· CCRN current or acquired after 3 years preferred· Two years of acute care experience or One year of cardiac unit experience or greater than six months current employment as GN/RN in a critical care unit· CCRN after 3 years preferredEEOC Statement Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
