Scope

Minimum Qualifications
ASN from an accredited program; BSN within 4 years- Current Colorado RN license- Current BLS certification endorsed by theAmerican Heart Association- One year of nursing experience in a comparablesetting, preferred
Physical Requirements:Ongoing need for an employee to see and read information, labels, assesspatient needs, operate monitors, and identify equipment and supplies.- and-Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitorsthat require the employee to verbally communicate as well as hear andunderstand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly andaccurately, particularly during emergency situations.- and -Manual dexterityof hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment withprecisioThis includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care,accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.- and -Expectedto lift and utilize the full range of movement to transfer patients. Will alsobend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavyitems.- and -Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patientsand obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment.This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, includingheavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full ofequipment, power cords on the floor, etc).- and -May be expected tostand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
