JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Registered Nurse (RN) in Westfields Hospital &Clinic\'s Surgery Department provides direct care that meets both thepsychosocial and physical needs of the surgical patient. As aCirculator, you will be responsible for planning and directing allnursing care for patients undergoing operative and gastrointestinalprocedures. These responsibilities include setting up for surgicalcases/procedures, intra-operative care of the patient, phase 1 and phase2 recovery and conscious sedation administration and recovery. Must besupportive and able to work well within a team environment. WorkSchedule: 1.0 FTE/40 hours weekly Days into the evenings with a on-calland holiday rotation Required Qualifications: Nursing degree from anaccredited college. Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State ofWisconsin. Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications. Strong knowledgebase of diseases, surgical procedures and care required. Able toprioritize and multitask while adapting well to a rapidly changingenvironment. Sound physical assessment skills for patients across thelifespan (pediatric to geriatric) Preferred Qualifications: Prior ORNursing experience preferred.
