　　Full Time Night shift Registered Nurse RN on intermediate care/stepdown (Seton 1) at Lourdes Hospital.

　　Department Description: Seton 1 is a 24-bed intermediate care/stepdown unit at Guthrie Lourdes in Binghamton, NY. The unit sees patients that all require telemetry monitoring. Patients are typically cardiac in nature including MI, atrial fibrillation, cardiac arrythmia and heart failure patients. In addition, the unit is the acute stroke unit and all staff are stroke trained. Nurses on this unit are all ACLS certified (not required to start) and participate in the code team as well as assist with bedside procedures such as TEEs and cardioversions.

　　Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

　　Education/License:

　　Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing. Required professional licensure at time of hire.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.|

　　Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.|

　　Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.|

　　Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

　　The pay range for this position is $37.50 - $53.06 per hour.
