Associate R&D Engineer, Electrical Location: Minneapolis, MN, US Job Family: Research & Development Country/Region: United States Job Function Summary Major Areas of Accountability Support the development of electrical test methods, including LabVIEW programming, wiring, etc. Perform testing using electrical equipment Support assembly of electrical circuits, electrical assemblies, in and out of a cleanroom Create test plans and protocols Conduct bench test evaluation of new product, product design changes and test failures, as required Prepare and review design history file deliverables as required to complete projects and support regulatory submissions Assists Project Manager and the team in planning project tasks and schedule Assists in resource planning, including definition of responsibilities of external contract resources Establish a foundation for future platform work involving implanted and external electronics Other duties as assigned Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering 1-2 years' experience in the medical industry, active implantables preferred Experience in analog and digital hardware development and test Experience with embedded software systems, including proficiency in C/C++, Python, etc. Familiarity with FDA, ISO and EN Standards as they apply to medical devices.
