Must work 20 hours/week tobe eligible for benefitsShift: Rotating and straight nights availableMake an ImpactQualifications:EDUCATION - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)EXPERIENCE -One year nursing experience.EQUIVALENCY- Applicants with an Associate's Degree in Nursing who agree toobtain a Bachelor of Science (BSN) within 3 years from their start datemay be considered.LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION(S) - Registered Nurse (RN) license;BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with at least 6 months leftbefore expiration is required upon hire.Critical Care Units - ICU:Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a Level 4, 82-bed regionalreferral center for the seven-state region with a platinum-level designationfor ECMO. We treat neonate, infant and pediatric patients less than 2 yearsold with conditions including hypoxemic respiratory failure, infections,hematological, neurological, cardiovascular, metabolic disorders,single major or multiple anomalies requiring diagnostic work-up and/orsurgical intervention. We provide continuous renal replacement therapy(CRRT), renal dialysis and body cooling for neonates among many othertherapies to provide the highest level of neonatal care to infants and theirfaNo NICU experience? We are currentlyaccepting applications for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) andCardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU).The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) provides care for children withlife-threatening illnesses as well as those who are at serious risk for lifethreatening complications. We care for children from birth to 21 years of age.Patients treated here are experiencing multi-organ system failure, acuteand chronic pulmonary conditions, meningitis, septic shock, neardrowning, diabetic ketoacidosis, renal and/or hepatic failure,oncology/bone marrow transplant or airway management, among other needs.Major diagnostic categories include respiratory, neurologic,injury/poisoning, trauma, oncologic and infectious disease. The PICUalso provides care for patients receiving solid organ transplant as well asneurosurgical, burn, orthopedic, ENT and general pediatric surgicalpatients. Patients in the PICU are cared for by a multidisciplinary teamincluding pediatric intensivists, RNs and dedicated PICU respiratorytherapists, pharmacists, nutritionists, social workers and child lifespecialists. We provide family-centered care by identifying and addressing theneeds of the patient and family throughout their hospitalization.Transition to Practice PICU candidates' start dates April 2024, July2024, October 2024The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) provides care for children withcongenital heart disease, pulmonary hypertension and acquired heartdisease, serving patients from neonate through adulthood (for adults withcon enital heart disease).
