The School Nurse will be responsible to maintain update medical anddental records, conduct necessary health screenings, dispensemedication, and evaluate students after a restraint has occurred.Administration of school time medications, general sickness and injurytriage, teaching Health class to all grade levels and ability tocoordinate with students? medical providers for the provision of care inschool, when necessary. Qualifications - Requires a current R.N. licenseby the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and MAP certification. - Requiresrelevant R.N. experience with children and families, knowledge ofresidential and/or school treatment nursing and experience working withchildren of diverse cultural backgrounds. - Requires excellent oral andwritten communication skills. - Requires reliable transportation, asattendance at meetings and multiple sites will be mandated. - Requirescurrent valid driver?s license.
