Job Description:
  • Promotes and protects the optimal health status of students
  • Provides health assessments
    • Obtains a health history
    • Identifies abnormal health findings
  • Provides for emergency nursing management for injuries/illnesses
  • Promotes and assists in the control of communicable disease
  • Provides health education and anticipatory guidance
  • Provides direct health education
  • Serves as a resource person to the school staff members in health instruction


Minimum Requirements
Registered Nurse
CPR Certified
Minimum of two (2) year's experience in emergent care nursing, school health nursing or pediatric nursing.
