Description: Full-time, part-time Registered Behavior Technician
ABA (applied behavior analysis) therapy takes place in several different environments; child's home, clinic (playroom), school and community. The ABA treatment plan is designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst - BCBA. The RBT provides instruction and reinforcement to enable the child to obtain and preserve skills that will allow him/her to function with greater independence in society and at home. We offer all training to meet the requirements for an RB and above average compensation. This position provides exceptional access to the field for people who are interested in psychology, behavior analysis, special education, or other careers in the behavioral sciences. Responsibilities:
Provide one on one therapy to children who are diagnosed with the autism spectrum disorderImplement the treatment plan as directed by the BCBARecord and graph therapy dataAttend monthly trainings, supervision, and workshopsMaintain a high level of professionalism including appearance, punctuality, and communication with all stakeholdersNecessities:
Either possess or be able to obtain an RBT credential through the BACB. Current RBT is preferred but not required* (ANLTS provides training for candidates who do not already hold the RBT credential)2 years experience preferred.*Have completed at least a high school diploma.Must have a valid driver's licenseMust have a reliable means of transportationMust have full coverage automobile insurancePass a federal, state, and county criminal background checkBLS and CPR certified (must be completed in person NOT online--we offer this if needed)Must be able to attend a yearly NCI trainingMust be able to attend once a month staff trainingExperience is strongly preferred. Training is providedFull-time:Must be able to work 30-40 hours per weekPosition is Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 5:30pmPart-time:Must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours and a maximum of 29 hours per week. Most schedules will be either 8-12 or 12-5:30 M-F.
