Duolingo Inc. is seeking a Regional Marketing Director (Pittsburgh, PA) to leverage market and data insights to develop a marketing and growth plan driving long-term growth and brand equity for Duolingo. Analyze key business metrics to identify and develop regional-specific growth levers with partnerships and brand/creator collaborations. Lead market research to understand the main opportunities and pain points that our product has in each market. Manage regional budgets and optimize investments based on ideal return on investment for growth marketing and for brand love. Partner with Marketing and Product teams to develop localized product messaging and positioning for features and product launches. Partner with Global Marketing to uphold our brand strategy, measure our brand health in markets and scale campaigns that will support our mission and brand values. Build an outstanding agency network to support our Marketing needs across the region for Creative, Social and PR. Hire and develop teams, mobilizing them to implement the strategy while positioning them to achieve their professional development goals. Local telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
Supervises three (3) direct reports holding the titles of one (1) Regional Marketing Manager, one (1) Country Marketing Director, and one (1) German Country Marketing Manager.
Job Requirements:
Requires a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration or related field of study and three (3) years of experience in managing brand budgets. Experience must involve: key marketing metrics; leveraging local market and data insights to develop marketing and growth business plans for diverse brands; creating and executing growth marketing plans; and developing brand equity.
