About Regional Key Account Manager

Our dynamic customer base, is comprised of dedicated individuals shaping the future of technology. We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Key Account Manager to join us and own the national account management of one of our most valued Prime accounts. By partnering across the Federal Sales teams, you'll stay informed on industry developments and contribute to the formulation and delivery of solutions-focused sales plans. Together, we strive to provide Tektronix Military and Government accounts with high-quality support and engagement. Come join our team!

  Responsibilities:

  Exceed sales targets for your territory.

  Develop a Large Strategic National Account / Territory Sales Plan with a focus on revenue growth and share gain.

  Understand customer organizations by department, function, strategies, and key programs.

  Profile and develop relationships with key executives within your focus account/territory.

  Lead a cross-functional sales and FAE team across the country to drive our share gain strategy for Northrop Grumman nationwide.

  Master the basic features and benefits of our primary products, including Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Logic Analyzers & BERTs.

  Identify and sell into new and existing applications for Tektronix & Keithley products.

  Optimally apply sales resources, including applications engineers, channel partners, and inside sales support.

  Qualifications:

  Proven track record in quota attainment selling highly technical capital equipment using a defined sales process.

  Shown success in developing growth plans for large strategic accounts.

  Confirmed success in prospecting for and closing new business.

  Fully developed tactical sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, closing, and growing existing customers).

  Strong communication and presentation skills.

  Excellent time and territory management habits.

  Military functional knowledge is highly preferred.

  Knowledge or experience in High Tech sales industry

  Ability to travel 30% of the time within the territory.

  This position's primary/essential functions are subject to U.S. Government ITAR compliance requirements under current government contracts. Therefore, all employees in this position must be either: 1) a U.S. citizen, permanent resident (green card holder) or refugee/asylee or 2) must be willing to allow or cooperate with the company in applying for a U.S. government license, if necessary. Continued employment is contingent on the U.S. government approving such license, but Tektronix encourages all applicants to apply.

  All jobs require access to Export Administration Regulations AT1 level technology and therefore a license may be required for citizens of Cuba, North Korea, Iran, or Syria.
