  Job Summary:

  Working to support the Americas Finance and Global Business Process teams, the Regional Finance BPL role represents the CooperVision commercial business processes and standards for Commercial Finance and SSC in the project or region they are deployed. The Regional Finance BPL role will lead the implementation of standard processes and tools for Oracle deployments. The scope extends to all processes required to support Commercial Finance and SSC by delivering compliance and good practice.

  The Regional Finance BPL role will work with the business teams, project team, GBPLs, BPAs and FTLs to ensure that the system and process standards can be used to meet the site or functional requirements, staying consistent with the global design. This role will be responsible for coordinating business inputs to any Oracle project team and will take a lead role in the change management activity supporting the site teams, working with One Vision Global Organization and Change Management (OCM). Where requirements are unique to the site/function the BPL will assist in evaluating existing standard alternatives and documenting / discussing / elevating new requirements where needed.

  The Regional Finance BPL role will provide functional and subject matter expertise for planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing and implementation activities for CooperVisions systems landscape as well as providing onsite leadership of end user support for their function. In doing this activity the BPL will have access to BPA resources and work in collaboration with the program team / BSA resources. This role is responsible for ensuring that commercial finance processes, policies, controls, procedures, and detailed work instructions are documented. This role will interact with other functional areas to ensure that solutions are optimized cross-functionally.

  It is key to the role to understand and support the business strategy, specific process details and the systems capabilities to enable them. This role will interact with other functional areas to ensure that solutions are optimized cross-functionally.

  Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

  Provides tactical leadership in the implementation of processes and standards, using subject matter expertise and BPA/BSAs to help guide the organization through the process of defining and adopting new business process. Works with the site or function in identifying best practice processes, problems and anticipating needs Leads and works with local site teams to ensure successful deployment of any OneVision project, working through the project life cycle including data preparation, conversion, testing, training and change management processes. Develops a deep knowledge of the global process design, deployed modules and configurations for the defined business process area. The aim being to implement on standard platform / processes in as far as possible to drive consistency through the markets / function. Knowledge of supporting systems and interfaces will be required at a high level where appropriate to the functional area. Ensures design meets internal control requirements in cooperation with the Risk and Controls Business Process Lead Supports the organizational planning and facilitation of new software configurations to drive automation of defined functional processes. Supports the coordination and implementation of software components and leads the coordination of testing prior to launch. Partners with Global BPLs, to ensure there is a model for ongoing support Responsible for the prioritization of tasks, performance analysis and action plans for the deployment site or function. This includes establishing metrics to monitor and evaluate the performance of specific processes, leading to continuous improvement opportunities. Leads process action teams for the assigned process areas to drive process definition and descriptions, process training plans, and deployment. While not directly responsible, they will need to manage other resources within the function to accomplish this. Manages on site resources, scheduling, and participates in feature/functionality trade-off decisions. Builds and sustains strong relationships, provides persuasive communication and works as an advocate for their function. Prepares documentation on all phases of processes and modification of existing systems and processes (including co-authoring cross functional workflows/ processes). Specifically, documentation should include policies, procedures, work instructions, and process flow maps at a minimum. There will be a need to assist in the documentation of requirements, designs and specifications as well. Is responsible for training, mentoring, directing, and validating the work of the local business teams relative to the new business process deployment (may be technology enabled). Keeps management well informed on a timely basis of progress, status, and concerns for each assignment. Effectively communicates ideas and information with peers, management, and customers. Responsible for the knowledge transfer to key stakeholders. Provides ongoing support, coaching and mentoring, and trouble-shooting of deployed processes. Provide internal consultative leadership and support for large enterprise programs and process development for extraordinary circumstances. Specific to the Oracle EBS OneVision project (by phase)

  Analysis/Design phase:

  Participate in Business Process Definition Workshops Develop a clear understanding of current business processes, driving process standardization where relevant Establish and manage work plans for respective process area within respective deployments Create deep and meaningful partnerships with other Process Leads to ensure cross-process effectiveness Assist in the design and documentation of current & future business processes to support requirements Develop a clear and deep understanding of the global design Participate in change management activities; identify, schedule, and support process participants across the globe Build phase:

  Participates in system-based process walk-throughs Supports technical team Ensure system design meets process goals Establish and communicate changes in policies, processes, organization structure, etc. Test phase:

  Coordinates end user training to support the deployment Support the review and validation of key business scenarios Review training materials Identify and build key business scenarios Lead test activities, document test results Drive change requests Communicate business vision to end users Manage local resource plans for testing Deploy phase:

  Participate in development of training materials Lead deployment activities Act as advisor to process participants Be an active participant in the change management process Monitor process performance Travel Requirements:

  A minimal level of travel may be required for this role Qualifications

  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  Work cross-functionally to document and develop functional and technicalspecifications to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of new processes Deep knowledge of existing functional processes.   Normal office environment Sedentary to light physical effort necessary to perform the job Extensive contact with employees and external business partners and vendors Experience:

  Previous experience in ERP implementation, preferably Oracle. Demonstrated ability to lead change within a local site Experience in functional business processes, functional requirements writing, test script and use case development and documentation. Education:

  For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $99, 720 and $132, 960 and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
