This role is responsible for delivering industry-leading maintenance performance and asset utilization to internal and external customers. This includes, but is not limited to, delivering excellence in cost, vehicle availability, asset utilization, shop productivity management, performance improvements, and all fleet KPI compliances.Duties & ResponsibilitiesLeads and drives maintenance business transformation and ongoing process improvement to enhance growth. Provides change management leadership to obtain buy-in from technicians, lead technicians, area maintenance supervisors, and managers on key initiativesDevelops, administers, and monitors procedures that will ensure that all vehicles are maintained at the highest possible standards at the lowest possible cost without compromising safety, reliability, or appearance. Ensure internal audit guidelines and shop quality standards are met in all maintenance locationsManages, leads, and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating company goals and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and trainingImplements continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus, and embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadershipDelivers maintenance performance that meets or exceeds the needs of the business, in a multi-state area with an asset base of 4,000 or more pieces of equipment.Develops and delivers high-performance maintenance operations through the implementation of industry standards, area maintenance supervisor and manager, and technician training, best practice application, and audit, and compliance to RCT and regulatory standardsProvides consistent customer service to RCT, CCCI (Coca-Cola Consolidated) Leadership, and all future customers per our SLA. This includes following our customer wiring model and completing annual business reviewsPartners cross-functionally to create and implement strategic initiatives in a team-based environmentImplements new processes and procedures that will save money without compromising customer service and safety. Serves as a leader in cost management, productivity, and improvement strategies and techniques that drive profitabilityEnsures that shops are operated with safety as a priorityReviews and provides guidance on assigned technology initiatives and process improvement projects to drive improved equipment performance or shop productivityMentors area managers and supervisors about KPI standards: Direct, Indirect labor, CCCI asset downtimes, compliance, overtime standards, billed hours % of worked hours, and trailer goalsKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesMaintenance management experience and supervisory, management skills requiredStrong interpersonal and relationship skills; organizational and political savvyAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to coach others to improve performance.
