About Recruiter

  Overview

  We are looking for a highly motivated recruiter to join our team. The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing talent, conducting interviews, and hiring through a variety of pipelines and recruitment programs.

  Responsibilities

  Plan and perform recruitment activities, such as sourcing qualified applicants, conducting interviews, reference and background verifications, selection and offer process. Position may perform new hire orientation and on-boarding activities.

  Work with recruiting teams to execute on recruiting programs, such as high school and college recruiting programs. Ensure consistent and effective relationship building processes are in place, desired results are achieved, and that programs are in line with company objectives.

  Advises applicants on the process and eligibility requirements.

  Actively collaborates with hiring managers to identify hiring needs.

  Provide support to empirical university. Responsibilities include coordination and collaboration with academic faculty to ensure success of students and program. Will provide oversite to students to successfully navigate them through the program. Duties may include but are not limited to regular check-in with students and faculty, assisting with scholarships, grants and student registration.

  Maintain records of Human Resource information and activities according to federal, state, and local requirements. Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying, anticipating, enforcing, and adhering to existing and new legislation requirements, along with advising management of needed actions.

  Maintain processes, policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines that meet the company’s values regarding areas related to recruitment, hiring, and retention., These areas include job intakes and job descriptions, new hire orientation programs, training, and recruitment related programs. Ensure services delivered to employees and applicants are professional, timely, efficient, and provide a positive experience.

  Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

  Perform all other duties as assigned.

  Qualifications

  Skills and Abilities

  Thorough understanding of employment laws and required compliance.

  General computer knowledge and proficiency.

  Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

  Experience in on-line application systems and Human Resource database systems is preferred.

  Demonstrated Competencies

  Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  Active listening and reasoning skills.

  Customer service oriented. Ability to effectively schedule groups of individuals.

  Bi-lingual, Spanish/English able to speak, read and write preferred.

  Ability to work under time restraints, meet deadlines, appropriately handle sensitive data, and multi-task.

  Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to communicate to all levels of employees.

  Must be able to maintain confidentiality and be able to handle sensitive data appropriately.

  Must have regular and punctual attendance.

  Physical Requirements

  Office setting.

  Ability to travel.

  Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Human Resources or Recruiting field.Education: 2-year associates degree in Human Resources is preferred.Department: Human Resources
