　　Essential Functions

　　The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be required and assigned.

　　Conducts special, seasonal and year-round recreational events, programs, and services for children, including indoor and outdoor games and aquatic activities.

　　Teaches the rules and playing skills of various games to participants, and monitors activities to ensure safety and proper behavior.

　　Inspects and reports needed repairs or maintenance to equipment and facilities.

　　Provides routine first aid to injured participants as needed.

　　Prepares and maintains written records and reports on facility and equipment usage.

　　Cashiers and backups up the Recreation Assistant as needed.

　　Assembles and disassembles equipment and facilities.

　　Issues and picks up athletic equipment.

　　Other duties as assigned.

　　Entry Level Pay Grade: D-1; $13.69 per hour
