ACCS Recovery Advocate Location: New Bedford, MA Hours per week: 40Responsibilities: Serves as a member of the Integrated Team/Group LivingEnvironment /Intensive Group Living Environment, responsible forproviding young adult to geriatric individuals with person centered,strength-based, time-limited therapeutic supports and clinicalinterventions that focus on each individual?s recovery. Provideassessment of needs, intensive clinical interventions with recoverytools, in a therapeutic setting or supporting individuals livingindependently in the community to promote stability. Qualifications:Bachelor\'s degree in Human Service field, such as Social Work,Psychology, Rehabilitative Counseling, or closely related disciplinerequired. Can substitute Bachelor\'s Degree with three or more years ofbehavioral health direct care experience. Computer literacy includingpast experience with keyboarding, email, internet and computerizedhealth record systems is desired. Preference will be given to candidatesthat may meet the cultural and linguistic needs of the geographic needsand area. Multilingual candidates are preferred.
