About Woodland Job Corps Center
The Woodland Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Electrical Wiring, Carpentry, Building Construction Technology, Culinary Arts, Advanced Training - Culinary Arts and Hotel & Lodging. We also assist students with job placement upon completion of their educational and career technical training.

The Woodland Job Corps Center is currently hiring a detail-oriented and highly organized individual for the role of Records Officer. As a Records Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining precise and current records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and enhancing the overall efficiency of our center.
Responsibilities:
Record Management:
Oversee the organization, storage, and retrieval of both physical and electronic records.
Implement and maintain a systematic filing system for easy access to information.
Regularly audit records to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Data Entry and Maintenance:
Input and update information into the center's database.
Perform regular data quality checks to identify and rectify discrepancies.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accuracy of records.
Compliance Assurance:
Stay current with relevant regulations and standards related to record-keeping.
Ensure that records adhere to legal and organizational policies.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors during compliance checks.
Confidentiality Management:
Uphold strict confidentiality protocols in handling sensitive information.
Educate staff on the importance of data security and implement measures to safeguard records.
Reporting:
Generate and provide regular reports to management on the status of records.
Analyze data trends to identify areas for improvement in record-keeping processes.
Training and Support:
Conduct training sessions for staff on proper record-keeping procedures.
Provide support and guidance to staff members regarding record-related inquiries.
Continuous Improvement:
Propose and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of record-keeping.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Proven experience in records management or a similar role.
Familiarity with record-keeping software and database management systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
