  The Receptionist receives and correctly routes incoming and outgoing telephone calls and accommodates visitors so that all callers/visitors are attended to promptly, courteously, and accurately. The Receptionist performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments.

  Conviva is seeking a candidate to join our Team as a Receptionist who has experience working in a medical office and with managed care. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, be a team player, able to multi-task, and be very organized. If you possess these skills and are interested, we look forward to speaking with you.

  Job Functions

  Welcomes patients and visitors.

  Comforts and assists patients, answering patients' questions.

  Maintains the reception area.

  Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies.

  Appointment scheduling

  Verification of insurances

  Collecting patient charges

  Use your skills to make an impact

  Required Qualifications

  Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

  Excellent customer service and phone etiquette.

  Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)

  Preferred Qualifications

  High School Diploma or GED

  Prior experience in a Medical Office Setting

  Prior experience working Front Desk at a Medical Office

  Experience with eClinicalWorks

  Bilingual English and Spanish preferred, but not required

  Medical Receptionist Working hours:

  Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

  If you are selected for a first round interview, you will receive an email correspondence inviting you to participate in a Modern Hire interview. In this interview, you will receive a set of interview questions over your phone, and you will provide recorded or text message responses to each question. You should anticipate this interview to take about 15 minutes. Your recorded interview will be reviewed, and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to next round of interviews.
