Summary:

Greets, directs and/or provide assistance to patients, family members and visitors entering the facility in a friendly, courteous professional manner. Answers telephones, routes calls to appropriate staff, takes accurate phone messages and relays messages to staff. Provides basic clerical duties following established procedures as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

High School diploma or GED preferredEXPERIENCE

Prior customer service and/or receptionist experience preferredKNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

Ability to read, write and speak the English language clearly

Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors and the general public

Ability to follow written or oral instructions

Excellent communication skills which may be inclusive of approach, tone of voice, speed of communication, respectfulness and non-verbal communication

Must have strong telephone skills and etiquette
