Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the education sector, located in Newton Centre, Massachusetts. As a Receptionist, your role will encompass a variety of tasks including managing a multi-line phone system, providing exceptional customer service, and executing accurate data entry.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a multi-line telephone system, directing calls and inquiries as necessary

• Provide high-level customer service, addressing concerns and queries in a timely manner

• Execute data entry tasks with precision, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate

• Manage email correspondence, responding professionally and promptly to all communications

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to facilitate daily tasks

• Organize files and maintain a tidy and efficient workspace

• Coordinate and schedule appointments, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations

• Employ strong interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships with staff and customers. Requirements • Proficiency in managing a multi-line phone system, ensuring efficient communication within the educational institution

• Excellent customer service skills, able to assist visitors, parents, and students with inquiries and concerns

• Must have experience in data entry, maintaining accurate records of student and staff information

• Skilled in email correspondence, able to respond to queries in a timely and detail oriented manner

• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of fostering positive relationships with staff, students, and parents

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, for maintaining spreadsheets and managing data

• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, for managing emails, appointments, and tasks

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word for creating documents, reports, and letters

• Ability to organize files efficiently, maintaining an orderly and effective filing system
