Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the Manufacturing industry, based in Parsippany, New Jersey. The chosen candidate will be the first point of contact for our company, responsible for greeting visitors, handling inquiries, and performing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Operate multi-line phone system and direct calls to appropriate departments

• Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate locations within the premises

• Monitor and maintain office equipment, ensuring everything functions properly

• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, sorting and distributing accordingly

• Perform light administrative tasks, including data entry and organizing files

• Coordinate with vendors for various office needs

• Assist in scheduling appointments and meetings as needed

• Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and staff

• Gain knowledge in medical device terminology to efficiently communicate within the company

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word for various tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook

• Experience in answering multi-line phone systems

• Strong customer service skills and experience

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with precision

• Experience in managing email correspondence professionally

• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with staff and visitors

• Organizational skills for maintaining and organizing files

• Experience in scheduling appointments and managing calendars

• Familiarity with the manufacturing industry is preferred

• Must have a professional demeanor and strong work ethic

• Ability to multitask and to work under pressure

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
