Babcock and Wilicox, Lancaster location is looking for a Customer Relations Manager,This position will serve as primary contact for international and intercompany customers for the purpose of identifying replacement parts sales opportunities, proper quotation and order execution including order entry and order execution management. This is an experienced and technical role that can process complex customer orders and interpret customer provided information to help assist with a variety of requests and/or complaints. This position serves as a training position and decision maker for work performed by lower level employees.
Develop a network of relationships with Sales, Service and the Customer to systematically provide support to customers in order to maintain and grow current business levels.Participate in pricing strategy development to build upon working relationships with current customer base, and work through strategic objectives with targeted customers to further grow the replacement parts business.Research customer product equipment installation including contract files, drawings and other records to correctly identify required replacement parts and identify potential opportunities that can be promoted to key customers.Monitor reports of rescheduled shipments maintaining excellent communication with customers to inform them of revised delivery dates and advise of other changes regarding order fulfillment.Develop strategic customer product offering alternatives such as new products, product upgrades, rebuild and field service.Participate in Strategic Planning for increasing Replacement Parts sales to customers within assigned territory.Provide quality training and mentoring for the RPA's Levels 1 and 2.Understand intercompany pricing procedures.Understand export procedures, rules, and regulations including screening end user information in Visual Compliance database.Be Familiar with IncoTermsPrepare Shipper's Letter of Instructions (SLI), commercial invoices, and certificates of origin when needed.Communicate and coordinate shipments with customers' forwarders.Point of contact for all export parts shipments. Determine how shipment will be handled and work with Lancaster Shipping Department and/or B&W Logistics (Akron).Understand HS codes and export document filing (AES) when requiredPrepare/submit B&W purchase requisitions when purchasing items from other intercompany (worldwide) locations. Majority of the time, these are handled as direct shipments to the customer site.Set up projects in OracleCalculate and add prices to intercompany price list for Canadian consolidated shipments.Process and handle IR camera orders for export. Process/manage required export documents.
