Description

　　Our client, a thriving privately held company is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal.

　　The ideal candidate will assist outside counsel with the research and drafting of documents required for various aspects of real estate property law, including but not limited to, management and coordination of all real estate transactions. Work as the liaison for all incoming legal matters to be directed and monitored to appropriate personnel/department.

　　KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

　　Corporate Formation and Record Maintenance.

　　Assist in the formation of corporate entities.

　　Maintain the order of corporate books.

　　Prepare and file annual and biennial statements of information.

　　Prepare corporate resolutions and authorizations.

　　Litigation Support.

　　Coordination of all SB 800 claims.

　　Assist with document production and coordination with outside Counsel.

　　Research and draft responses to basic discovery.

　　Coordinate scheduling meetings and inspections with outside Counsel.

　　Assist in tracking of SIR obligations with Accounting, Insurance and BB& T.

　　General/Miscellaneous Duties.

　　Coordinate with escrow company for property acquisitions.

　　Assist with title reviews for properties in escrow.

　　Preparation of draft LOI, PSA Agreements, Amendments, etc.

　　Prepare agreement project summaries.

　　Project tracking.

　　Prepare Management Agreements.

　　Provide general support to other departments with drafting correspondence and assisting with minor amendments to documents.

　　Assist the Commercial Department with draft preparation of Leases and Amendments.

　　Assist with the formation of HOA and BRE projects.

　　HOA Committee member for various HOA’s as required.

　　Review HOA Committee documents and attend meetings.

　　Research and prepare Disclosures for Projects.

　　Assist with project construction loans.

　　Coordination with departments to prepare monthly Bond reports

　　Assist with all other special tasks and duties as directed by management.

　　Requirements - Proven knowledge of real estate law

　　Quality experience with Residential Real Estate

　　Practical knowledge of Real Estate Transaction

　　Subdivision real estate experience

　　Well-founded grasp of Real Estate Lending

　　Deep understanding of private real estate

　　General familiarity with Real estate sales

　　Residential real estate experience

　　Solid understanding of Corporate Real Estate

　　Real estate experience

　　Strong problem solving and analytical skills

　　Customer service oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all customers

　　Possessing an understanding of word processing and spreadsheets is desired

　　Attention to detail and accuracy, and discretion

　　Confidence in taking ownership of projects, writing and negotiating, planning and organizing
