Posting Summary
The Rutgers Business School is seeking individuals to assist with non-instructional assignments for its non-credit programs and centers.Successful candidates will provide assistance, guidance, research, and other duties as assigned (e.g., design, recruitment, curriculum development, course design, research, etc.) on a variety of topics, including, but not limited to: accounting, accounting information systems, financial accounting, government accounting, taxation, administrative studies, finance, economics, real estate, marketing, management, management science and information systems, operational management, strategic leadership, supply chain, and much more.Candidates may be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
  • Conducting research
  • Preparing materials (e.g., presentations, proposals, documents, etc.) as assigned by the hiring manager
  • Generate reports, summaries, and materials for distribution to internal and external entities
  • Developing curriculum, course designs, and course material review

Some positions may be grant funded.

  Qualifications

  

Minimum Education and Experience
Requires an advanced degree and at least one year of instructional/presentational experience. The degree requirement may be waived if a candidate is considered a subject matter expert in their field.A doctoral degree is preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Equipment Utilized
Physical Demands and Work Environment
May be required to travel between Rutgers-Newark and Rutgers-New Brunswick campuses.

Under Policy 100.3.1 , if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Additional infection control and safety policies may apply. Prospective employees should speak with their hiring manager to determine which policies apply to the role or position for which they are applying. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain a medical or religious exemption from the University will result in rescission of a candidate's offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
