　　Primary Job Duties

　　Ramp Agents are responsible for processing baggage between baggage areas in the airport facilities and aircraft, as well as receiving and dispatching aircraft.

　　Loading and unloading aircraft and carts

　　Stacking and un-stack baggage in aircraft

　　Complete safety checklists for motorized equipment

　　Drive and operate motorized equipment (e.g., conveyor belt)

　　Read and interpret aircraft load sheets, checked baggage tags

　　Escort passengers and special needs customers safely and courteously

　　Ensure compliance with SkyWest and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and policies

　　Minimum Requirements

　　We are looking for individuals excited to take on new challenges, especially within the airline industry! SkyWest Ramp Agents come from a wide range of backgrounds, education, interests, and experience. Toapply, you only have to meet the following criteria:

　　Be at least 18 years old

　　Possess a valid state issued driver’s license

　　Have a High School Diploma or GED

　　Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs clearances required

　　Able to pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen

　　Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

　　Physical and Other Requirements

　　Ability to lift heavy bags in excess of 50+ pounds, with or without a reasonable accommodation

　　Physical agility test may be required

　　Work outdoors in extreme temperatures and weather conditions for an extended period of time

　　Willing to work early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays

　　Flexible to work split shifts including early mornings, afternoons, and evenings

　　This is a full-time position, starting at $11.00 an hour
