　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　Our Imaging Teams are a committed, caring group of colleagues. We are seeking a Radiology Technologist. As our new Radiology Technologist, you will perform routine diagnostic procedures for clinical X-ray films. You will perform procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. 　　Your tasks and responsibilities may include:

　　Performs a variety of procedures/studies accurately and in a timely manner.

　　Assists in administration of contrast media in accordance with departmental policy and procedure.

　　Prepares and positions patients and equipment is a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures.

　　Obtains high quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images.

　　Maintains proactive, effective communication with patient and radiologist regarding any findings patient histories and test results as appropriate.

　　Collaborates and confers with all colleagues and members of the healthcare team.

　　Qualifications:

　　2 year or Associated Degree (Graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology)

　　ARRT Certification

　　Florida license to practice medical imaging

　　1 year hospital based experience preferred

　　Current American Heart Association Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

　　Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
