　　Job Summary:The Radiology Technologist Assistant performs a wide variety of routine duties, including clerical, technical, and patient-related functions. The Technologist Assistant is responsible for assisting the Radiology patient care team and providing a broad range of health care services such as patient check-in, order review, preparation for the visit, patient MRI screening, assistance with exams and procedures, and patient transport.

　　Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or GED equivalent, prefer radiology and/or hospital experience. The Radiology Technologist Assistant must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit. The Radiology Technologist Assistant must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patients status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patients requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs and to provide in the care needed as described in the departments protocols and procedures.
