Randstad is excited to partner with CMD, a Velosity Company! We are searching for a Quality/CMM Technician on 1st shift to support our Forest Lake, MN location. The Quality/CMM Tech is responsible for understanding, communicating, and verifying conformance to internal and external quality standards. MUST HAVE: Knowledge and understanding of modern manufacturing processes; knowledge of systems implementation including ISO 9001 and AS9100 preferred; experience with basic and advanced measurement tools (OGP, Trimos, tool scopes, etc.); knowledge of blue print reading / GDT; an understanding of component and/or mold manufacturing and ability to make decisions on in process tolerancing. Responsibilities
Work cooperatively with all employees.
Program and operate CMM - previous experience required
Initiate, perform and maintain inspection instructions for receiving, in-process and final inspections.
Develop and/or adapt inspection equipment to meet quality standards, make suggestions with regard to procedures, standards and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product quality.
Investigate and determine cause of quality issues; assist production and other personnel with Corrective Action process.
Assist in the handling and documentation of nonconforming product.
Assist in maintaining the calibration system.
Performs all other assignments as required.
