Job Title: Quality Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Coordinator to assist with PPAP, PFEMA, and documentation for 46 new tools at our site. You will work closely with the Quality Manager and Quality Engineer to ensure these tools undergo full inspection and documentation processes according to IATF standards.

Responsibilities

Assist in completing PPAP for new tools in the quality lab.

Work with the Quality Manager and Quality Engineer to ensure tools meet IATF standards.

Document and inspect 46 new tools.

Read and interpret CMM reports and symbols, including tolerance symbols.

Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Read and understand blueprints.

Engage in quality assurance and quality inspection processes.

Essential Skills

Experience in completing PPAP for new tools in a quality lab.

Ability to read CMM reports and understand symbols and tolerances.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Experience working with metal parts (stamping, machining, forging).

Blueprint reading skills.

Additional Skills Qualifications

Participation in IATF auditing.

Exposure to 8D problem-solving methodology.

Work Environment

Our facility, recently acquired and undergoing improvements, features both stamping and robotic weld sides. We have recently launched a 2nd shift with plans for a 3rd shift by 2024. The building is older but is being updated with new fixtures and enhancements to improve the work environment.

Job Type Location

This is a Contract position based out of Warren, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
